Bio: Marco Ricasoli-Firidolfi is a 37th generation winemaker in Monti, a prized micro-region in the heart of Chianti. The family has cultivated vines here for centuries, long before there was a Tuscany, let alone an Italy. Of the 250 acre estate, the family's 50 acres of vines have all been converted to organic farming in 2006 with certification in 2010.
Aside from that, the wines are made pretty much the same way his ancestors would have made them.
