Bio: When David and Diana Lett set out to Oregon in 1965, very few people could see what David saw in Dundee Hills. With a degree in Philosophy and another degree in viticulture-David not only founded the most densely planted region in modern day Oregon, but he also established the most extensive library of Oregonian vintages, championed biodiversity and native fermentations and was the first to plant Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris in the region. An absolute pioneer in American viticulture and still produces the benchmarks for Oregon wine.
With David's passing, his son Jason carries the torch while continuing to add to the legacy of Eyrie.
